The F 650 GS dual-sport bike, powered by a version of the acclaimed F800 engine, is an all-new version of this well-loved motorcycle. Now with over 20 more horsepower, the latest F650GS is more refined and will still take you anywhere you want to go: the city, the country, or any road in between. Take the F650GS on long or short rides, solo or two-up and even on mild trails. The F650GS is a worthy stablemate to the ultimate dual-sport bike, BMW's renowned R1200GS.
The strong twin-cylinder engine has impressive torque, peaking at a low 4500 rpm. Weighing only 376 pounds dry, the GS has a low centre of gravity with its under-seat fuel tank.
As light as it is, the F650GS is easy to ride for all. Two no-cost options make it very accessible for riders with short inseams: instead of a standard seat you can choose a low seat or even low frame version.
F 700 GS is the direct successor to the F 650 GS. A shorter gear transmission ratio in the 75 bhp engine enhances agility while at the same time guaranteeing the bike's familiar top-class handling.
