Beautiful Balkans Adventure
Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro

Following the great success of this tour from our last season, we again ride to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, adding Montenegro this time as another undiscovered southeast-European delicacy. Exhilarating routes will be taken to all the special areas these three countries have to offer. The route is all on good asphalt starting on wide gentle roads throughout Bosnia's inland and finishing with superb coastal riding up the azure Adriatic coast in Croatia.

Both Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are surely two of the last undiscovered tourist destinations in Europe. Witnessing the transition and rediscovering a region of forgotten beauty, culture and history will reward and surprise even the most jaded traveler. Make sure you come for a visit before these natural beauties get overrun by tourists!

The next day a side trip to Medjugorje, second biggest pilgrimage site in the world, can be one of spiritual renewal. Remote, lightly traveled byways that meander through captivating scenery will get us to Durmitor national park in Montenegro, which abounds in imposing mountaintops and numerous glacier lakes surrounded by rich evergreen forests. Fast flowing and clear rivers gifted Durmitor with magnificent canyons among which Tara River canyon is exceptional and one of the most beautiful in the world. The 1,3km (0,81mi) deep Tara Canyon slits open the earth's crust for 50mi and is second in size only to Grand Canyon in Colorado! On our way south we will ride a part of the canyon, and if you feel really adventurous you can go whitewater rafting.
