From Oslo, Norway's capital, we'll curve our way west, riding through the wild and untouched Telemark region to reach the first fjords. These natural wonders - glacier valleys flooded by the sea - are a breathtaking sight that can't be compared to anything else.

We'll continue our way north passing countless lakes, waterfalls, and fjords, admiring picture perfect villages that look exactly as on the postcard. Our first rest day will be in charming Bergen. The tour will take us further north to Alesund, riding through Jostedalsbreen National Park, home of the largest glacier in Europe, and further on to deep blue Unesco-protected Geirangerfjord.

All the while, we'll ride roads which are phenomenally good - impressive stretches such as Eagle Road, the Trollstigen, the Atlantic Road and the Sognefjell Road to name just a few.

The Norway tour is technically not demanding. Running on great surface with long and gentle sweepers, it makes for a perfect tour for the beginners as well as experienced riders forever in search of the perfect curve.

Day by day

Day 1: Arrival in Oslo

Welcome to Oslo, the capital of Norway!

We'll organize an airport transfer upon your arrival and take you directly to our iconic and historically beautiful hotel above Oslo with fantastic views over the city. Depending on the time of your arrival, you will be able to stroll the new waterfront and visit one of the many top notch museums and admire the town's unique and very modern architecture. At 4 PM we'll meet at the hotel for an introductory briefing and welcome dinner.

Day 2: Oslo - Dalen

We’ll leave urban Oslo behind and soon find ourselves amidst forest dotted with numerous lakes.

Riding further west, we'll enter the wild and pristine region of Telemark, a historic region of southern Norway known for its vast forests, valleys, skiing, and medieval wooden churches. To experience its rich cultural heritage, we'll visit Telemark Museum and the famous Eidsborg church dated back to the 13th century before we arrive to our hotel in Dalen. And who knows, you might even get to see a troll tonight – the Nordic mythical creature who only comes out at night.

Day 3: Dalen - Stavanger

Today we’ll ride the scenic Suleskarvegen road, the highest road in the southwest of Norway, topping out at 1.056m (3,464ft) above sea level.

It's said to be one of the best motorcycle routes in Norway, running between fjords and mountains. But there's more – we'll have another great stretch of 27 hairpin bends to cover. The Lysevegen road drops nearly 1,000 meters, finally settling in the quiet town of Lysebotn at the end of the magnificent Lysefjord. What a day!

Day 4: Stavanger - Bergen

Stavanger, once a tranquil coastal market town and a fishing port, evolved into a bustling city after the discovery of oil in the late 1960’s.

After a superb breakfast we'll start our ride north towards Bergen, our tonight's destination. Today's ride will be an amazing mix of all the beauty that Norway has to offer. From barren plateaus and mountain passes to beautiful glacial valleys and sky-blue lakes, to fascinating fjords surrounded by lush green vegetation and countless waterfalls.

Day 5: Rest day in Bergen

Bergen, the capital of fjord Norway and a Unesco World Heritage city, is often referred to as the most beautiful city in Norway.

To get acquainted with the city take a stroll to Bryggen, the old wharf famous for its colorful and characteristic wooden houses, probably one of the most familiar images in all of Norway. Don't miss out on the picturesque fish market with its charming location in the heart of the city. To end this beautiful day, take the Floibanen funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen and check out the spectacular view of the city, fjords and Bergen's seven mountains.

Day 6: Bergen - Sogndal

We’ll make our way past numerous lakes, fjords and waterfalls.

Tvinde waterfalls are among the most spectacular, dropping 110 meters. Soon after crossing Sognefjord – Norway's longest and deepest fjord, which stretches 204 kilometers inland – we'll find ourselves riding this magnificent and practically empty Gaularfjellet road, a well-preserved secret. The road runs along the fjord before it begins its sharply meandering climb towards the top of the mountain. We'll end the day in Sogndal, back by the fjord.

Day 7: Sogndal - Alesund

Today we’ll cross Jostedalsbreen National Park, one of the largest intact wilderness areas in southern Norway and home to the largest glacier in mainland Europe.

Glaciers make up nearly half of the park's area and we'll be able to admire them directly from the road. To learn more about the glaciers and climate, we'll visit the very interesting and interactive Norwegian Glacier Museum in Fjærland. Before arriving in Alesund we'll be again rewarded with breathtaking fjords, jaw-dropping views, empty roads and intense colors of the picture-perfect Norway.

Day 8: Rest day in Alesund

Alesund, one of Norway’s most unique towns, is situated amidst a series of islands of all shapes and size.

Tjis small waterfront town stands out from its Norwegian siblings with its art-nouveau architecture that has more in common with Prague or Brusells. Enjoy a stroll around the waterfront and the vibrant streets of this distinctive town. And if you are up for a hike, climb over 400 steps to the Mount Aksla viewpoint, from where you can admire an incredible view of the archipelago, the beautiful town center, and the amazing Sunnmøre Alps.

Day 9: Alesund - Kristiansund

Norway is full of highlights and superlatives, but today is probably going to be the day you’ve been waiting for since the tour has started.

Today we'll ride the most iconic of all the roads in Norway - the Atlantic Road! If not before, you've seen it in the latest James Bond movie. With its eight bridges built over a set of islands connecting the mainland like an elegant snake, the road is referred to as the most beautiful ride in the world. The scenery is stunning and the views incredible. Our tonight's destination will be Kristiansund, a small Norwegian town with a wonderful coastal location.

Day 10: Kristiansund - Geiranger

In the first part of the day we will zig zag from one island to another, crossing countless bays and fjords.

Luckily, the wonderland that nature has orchestrated for us in Norway never stops to amaze no matter how many fjords you have already seen. Our today's treat will be the famous Trollstigen pass, more known as the "Stairs of the Trolls," one of Norway's top driving experiences. Not only are the hairpins impressive and stand as a masterpieces in engineering, but the mighty surrounding mountains around are even more stunning.

Day 11: Rest day in Geiranger

Our today’s rest day will be in the iconic village of Geiranger, at the foot of the majestic Geirangerfjord, Unesco World Heritage site and probably the most popular tourist attraction and most visited destination.

From Geiranger we will ride along the Eagle Road, which eats its way through the landscape in narrow serpentines and offers amazing views over the fjord. To get back to the village we'll enjoy a boat ride and observe steep mountainsides and the deep blue fjord from a different prospective.

Day 12: Geiranger - Aurland

We’ll start the day on a steep road to the top of Dalsnibba Mountain at an elevation of 1,500 meters that boast Europe’s highest viewpoint of the fjords from a road with a sheer drop of around 500 m.

Next on the menu will be the breathtaking Sognefjellet route, located in the Jotunheimen mountain range, which is often called the "Roof of Norway." The road offers stunning views of jagged peaks and emerald lakes and makes its way up to 1,434 meters, which makes it the highest mountain pass in northern Europe. What follows is another incredible stretch of beautiful road over the Aurland Mountains with the view of Aurdalsfjorden as the grand finale before we end this beautiful day in a small village of Aurland.

Day 13: Aurland - Oslo

It is our last riding day today and another spectacular ride over the mountains.

We'll ride back to Oslo and away from the fjords, surrounded by beautiful glacial lakes and almost deserted landscapes dominated by high mountains. We'll ride through the glacier valleys and over barren plateaus on roads practically to ourselves before we reach our final destination - Oslo. We'll get ready for the farewell dinner and the last chance to try Norwegian salmon or cod.

Day 14: Departure from Oslo

Today is time to say good-bye to this amazing and wonderful country.

The tour will officially end after the breakfast, but depending on your flight, you can take one last stroll in vibrant Oslo and maybe even visit one of its iconic museums before heading out to the airport.
