Can we leave the helmets and GPS unit on the motorcycle when the bike is unattended?

When leaving the bike unattended, take the GPS off the mount and keep it safe. Don't leave helmet and gear on the bike either. At the hotel parkings always put the cover on the mount for the night. Also, when at the hotel always park the bike in the hotel parking or in the garage and lock it.
