Is tipping the guides common in Europe?
The Tours
In Slovenia and Europe, tipping is customary in tourism service industry and is an important component of guides’ compensation. The tip amount is at your discretion, but as a rough guideline, consider giving 10 € / tour member per day. You are welcome to increase the tip, if the guide went above and beyond to give you a good experience.
